Structure

Structure and Organization

Physiology Research Teams: These teams focus on studying the physiological changes that occur in organisms exposed to the Bloom. They investigate how the Bloom affects growth, reproduction, and overall health.   Biochemistry Research Teams: Responsible for analyzing the chemical components associated with the Bloom, these teams study toxins, enzymes, and other substances to understand their effects and potential uses.   Field Research Teams: These teams conduct research in Bloom-affected areas, collecting samples and data to study the Bloom's impact in real-world conditions. They often work in collaboration with field scouts and other researchers.   Data Analysis Teams: These teams analyze research data, generate reports, and provide insights based on their findings. They work to identify patterns and make recommendations for further research or practical applications.   Countermeasure Development Teams: This group focuses on developing practical solutions based on research findings. They work on creating antidotes, protective gear, and other countermeasures to address the effects of the Bloom.

Public Agenda

Mission and Responsibilities

Study of Bloom Effects: The primary focus of the department is to investigate how the Bloom impacts the physiology and biochemistry of affected organisms. This includes examining changes in cellular processes, metabolic functions, and overall health.   Research on Bloom Beasts and Flora: The department conducts in-depth research on Bloom Beasts and Bloom Flora, studying their biology, behavior, and the chemical properties that contribute to their dangerous nature. This research helps in developing strategies to combat these threats.   Biochemical Analysis: The department performs biochemical analyses to identify and understand the compounds produced by the Bloom and its creatures. This includes studying toxins, enzymes, and other substances that may have beneficial or harmful effects.   Development of Countermeasures: Based on their research, the department works on developing countermeasures and treatments to mitigate the negative effects of the Bloom. This includes creating antidotes, protective measures, and other solutions.   Collaboration and Integration: The department collaborates with other BRASC divisions, including the Medical Division and the Scout Division, to ensure that their findings are integrated into practical applications and field strategies.
