Glarbathrik
Glarbathrik, the Lord of Peril, destroyer of the World Before, is the god of many goblins. Hailing from outside of time and outside of the Sun, Moon, Stars, and Void, Glarbathrik rules his own plane of existence called Sabblezorn. He is a cruel god who delights in the torture of his chosen people. Depicted as a massive goblin who rides a fiery uniboar, Glarbathrik can take many shapes and always comes to mortals with a proposition in mind. More often than not, that proposition is a demand that the mortal sacrifice themselves to accomplish one of Glarbathrik's devious plans.
Glarbathrik is purely fictional, as is the plane of Sabblezorn. No one knows how he came to be worshipped by goblins, but scholars agree that the first mentions of Glarbathrik arose fairly soon after goblins were created during the Age of Creation. Not all goblins believe in Glarbathrik, particularly the Goblins of Orr, whose pursuit of natural philosophy has all but disconfirmed the Lord of Peril's existence. The fiends of the void, as well as some of the lesser gods, will sometimes impersonate Glarbathrik to convince goblins to do their bidding.
Those who truly believe in Glarbathrik reject the common understanding of divine cosmology in Dunyawal, some even going as far as to believe that Glarbathrik is the only true god and that the others are imposters. His priests in Dunyawal preach the virtues of bloodshed and cruelty in the face of adversity. Clerics who worship him usually dedicate themselves to carnage, but he is also associated with metalworking, abduction, and trickery.
