Amoss Dexter is a ruthless business owner and Towerlord of Basora. Running The Stonethorn Company, Dexter owns almost all the mines on Basora. It is no secret that he has wanted to break into the firearms trade but is yet to make a serious play.

It is unclear how Dexter made his fortune. Seemingly entering the mining trade from nowhere, Dexter quickly bought out all major competitors. Those who are yet to bend to Dexter's offers are either brave or stupid as invoking his wrath is not a good idea.
Failures & Embarrassments
In attempting to buy Aetherium at an auction in Easthaven, Dexter was embarrassed twice. Firstly by a mysterious figure called Rogan, who forced Dexter to bid well over the suggested price for the Aetherium and secondly when Tempus' Legion froze him and robbed him of the very thing he just overpaid for.
Wealth & Financial state
Dexter is currently the second richest person in The Capital Isle, second only to Charles Leeber. He brought his wealth with him when he arrived from Basora but has thrived since arriving on the Isle.
