Myrkul
Myrkul, also known as the Lord of Bones, the Lord of the Dead and the Reaper, is the God Death. Myrkul was in consideration for God of the Dead after Cyric was removed from his position by the Divine Court. Insead this position was passed on to Kelemvor.
His influence is inspired through the fear of death. Myrkul isn't widely worshiped so much as dreaded, and even blamed for the natural difficulties that accompanied growing old. He has mastered the skill of sparking unease and fear amongst mortals through every action or mere word. His face, the white skull shrouded in a black cowl, is recognised across the Realms as the symbol of fear and death, the paragon of nightmares. It was these facts that lead him to be passed over for the position for the new God of Death as he was seen to be to similar to Cyric
It is very important to Myrkul that mortals always keep him in the back of their mind. He never missed an opportunity to remind the world that he was waiting for them all.
