The Chained King

There are whispers of a former Grand Master of Vaross who went mad with power and had to be sealed away. The tales speak of a man, crazed by unfathomable greed and jealousy. He was said to have been kidnapped by his servants, bound in chains and sealed away, deep within the heart of the city, never to be heard from again.

It was mainly told as a cautionary tale showing the corrupting nature of power. It was not thought to be real as there is no evidence of any such Grand Master in any tome regarding Varosian history. It would appear that should this man have existed, his name had been wiped from history.
