The War That Never Was

The rising tension between the nation of Pirànjù and The Capital Isle became known as the War that Never Was. The Eastern nation were looking set to invade the Isle to expand their growing empire. The forces of the Isle spent months preparing for the invasion and even planned on attacking the The Immortal Empire in a preemptive strike.
The 'war' was cut short by the supernatural event The Convergence. Luckily the Isle's defensive strategies helped protect the cities from the undead forces of The Shadowfell. After the Convergence was over the Leadership of the Capital Isle was quick to arrange a peace treaty with the Empire to avoid further harm to the populous. Tempus' Legion wanted to finish the fight they had started so murdered a Clan Fumekaen diplomat in an effort to restart the war. To prove the actions of Tempus' soldiers didn't represent the views of the Isle, worship of Tempus was banned. After worship was banned the Empire agreed to a shaky peace treaty that is still in place to this day.
