The Ancient Maphra, those that lived in the time before mankind was divided, are, in the modern era, stuff of legends. Beyond their legendary ability to control all the elements of the world, there is very little known about them, less so how they were able to retain the ability to control all the elements from the ancient myths of creation. Nevertheless, what clues to their existence there are indicate a surprisingly advanced civilization, capable of great advancements in technology, medicine, agriculture, and transportation, the knowledge of which has been passed on to various early civilizations.
