Craylos Son of the Blessed

(a.k.a. Son of the Blessed, Craylos the Exciled, Craylos the Scarred)

In the realm of Glosmordin, amidst the shifting sands and towering mountains, a divine presence known as Craylos the Blessed commands reverence and devotion. Born from a lineage of warriors, Craylos was once a proud member of the Templar Order of Palanos. His path, however, took an unexpected turn when the shadows of his father's political past emerged, revealing ties to gods of questionable intent. Facing a harrowing choice between loyalty to his heritage and the order that shaped him, Craylos chose truth over deceit, only to be exiled from the Templars and his Xanthian roots. Alone in the unforgiving desert, he faced not only the harsh elements but a mysterious assailant that left a permanent scar across his visage, branding him as Craylos the Scarred.   Yet, fate smiled upon Craylos, as he found purpose and companionship in unexpected quarters. He aided the Cammal Family, vanquishing Trolls that threatened their lands. In gratitude, he was embraced into their fold, and alongside a skilled companion named El Shira, he embarked on a journey that would define his destiny.   A quest for a sacred staff led Craylos to a Minotaur's lair, where he triumphed against the beast, forging a helm from its skull to honor the divine Balira. In time, clarity illuminated his purpose, leading Craylos to establish the Sons and Daughters of the Blessed Swords—an order devoted to unwavering goodness and compassion.   Craylos, once Scarred, found divine healing in his dedication to Balira the Blessed. However, it was not until followers broke away, forming the Order of the Exiled, that Craylos was declared ascended—an Avatar of Baleria and a saint to the God Valinos in Glosmordin. This new order, the Exiled, fervently worships Craylos as a god, seeing in him the embodiment of their faith and the champion of redemption.   On the other hand, the Order of the Blessed Blades, while admiring Craylos as the creator of their order, directs their worship towards Konasima and Valinos. They see Craylos as an exemplary follower of Baleria and a guiding light within their noble cause, forging a legacy that inspires unwavering loyalty and commitment among the faithful. As his symbols—crossed blades, a war horse, and the sacred Scarred Helm—adorn the sanctuaries, Craylos' influence shapes the destiny of Glosmordin, weaving a tale of resilience, friendship, and the enduring flame of redemption that guides those who walk in the light of his blessed footsteps.

Personal history

Craylos born from a healthy stock was taken in his youth to be a member of the Templer Order of Palanos. By his late teens he was ready to fight for the Order, but in the eighteenth year of his life it was found out that his father had been a political prisoner in the past. His father had followed one of the lesser gods, those that did not do things for the good. Craylos was told that he must deny his father or be thrown out of the order. But Craylos could not deny where he came from for then he would of lived a lie. So Craylos was exiled from the order of palonos and from the tribes of Xanthos. Stuck in the desert with only his trusty two handed sword and the clothes upon his back he set out upon his life. Shortly after he was left to fend for his own he was attacked by some unknown creature that left a scar across his precious face. From then on he was known as Craylos the Scarred. Shortly after this event he helped rid the creatures that he had come to know as Trolls from the Cammal Family. For his Kindness and bravery he was inducted into the family. A girl of the name El-shira had hooked up at this time to travel with him. She was a jack of all trades, she could sing dance, play music. But most importantly in the eyes of Craylos was the skill she showed with her scimitar. Not quite sure of where he was to go he set out on an errand to retrieve a staff of some importance. Only by the grace of Baleria and the faithful priest who gave his life so that Craylos may live another day to fight did he and his companions escape from a Hydra. It was soon after this that Craylos the Scarred and his companion El- Shira entered a cave in search of this staff to find that they had entered the dwelling of a Minotaur, But with a sure swing and the blessings of Balira Craylos thwarted his enemy by swiftly beheading the creature. He found the staff and took the skull as a trophy for Balira to show her greatness. The skull was made into a Great Helm, and is worn with proudness for Baliras sake. Well much was found out about himself and his purpose in life and not to long after Craylos found his calling in life. He would start his own Order. From that point on Craylos reconfirmed his life to Balira the Blessed and began to organize the Sons and Daughters of the Blessed Swords a traveling order devoted to do only good. Because of his faith Craylos’s Face was healed of its scars and was known from that day on as Craylos Son of the Blessed
