This new symbol is arguably being spread by the foreigners, all too eager to have an opportunity to insult and hurt us and to pretend this new symbol and the politics it represents are also standing for your freedom and independence, but do not let yourself be swindled! By running in cahoots with the foreigners, you will not defend your fief and your lordship, you will not even be hurting Lord Adélème and his attempts to unite the city and to bring us back the respect and glory we are owed. No, you will just repeatedly stab yourself in the back! You will just create an opening for foreign spies among your people and leave yourself open to manipulations—Even if you yourself think you are too savvy to fall for them and only wish to exploit the foreigners, other less savvy people will see you and follow your example in all earnestness!

Thanks! It all started with a random photo I saw of a snake wrapped around the bird of a beak and I decided it was cool and I wanted to use it but then I had to find a explanation for it. I'm really happy with how reasonable I've made it all seem XD
