Suha is unique even for the Akarluh, like his father he has two abilities instead of the standard single ability. His abilities are much more subtle than most though.
[Empathic Conversion] When heightened his emotions overwhelm those of the people around him, impressing his wants, beliefs and needs on them. The effect lessens if distanced from him but repeated contact can overwrite a person's core personality. He could in theory learn to use this ability on purpose but he is kept in the dark about having it with the specific purpose of manipulating his own faith to convert more people.
[Persuasion] Through direct questions Suha can manipulate people into his own beliefs. ie "Don't you believe in the source?" Would inspire an almost violent belief. Suha is ignorant of this ability though somewhat willfully he prefers to think of himself as convincing.
Because neither ability is outright telepathy or mind control of which Akalruh are usually immune to he can use these abilities on his brethren making him invaluable to Elias who wishes to convert all of their species to his cause.

Personal history
Suha was created in the attempt to recreate the Orator, Elias's life long mission. His childhood was rather uneventful, Elias ensuring that he wasn't adopted until he was much older thus fostering a love for his fellow practitioners of Tevanisim. Making sure that Suha was a devoted believer viewing his fellow practitioners as closer than family. Since he was primarly raised on a Tevadali compound he believes in the source and in Elias.
