Tzar Anatole Dolgorukiy
Tzar Anatole Dolgorukiy is the ruler of the Sovereign Domain of Tartaria, a position which he has only assumed in the last two years. He is keen to increase the strength of the army, feeling that the Anglo-Franco Empire has grown too powerful, despite their recent defeat at Minsk (under the leadership of his father). He is also keen to develop and industrialise some of his more remote lands far to the east and has been an active sponsor of the growing railway network which is helping to unify the domain.
The Tsar married Larissa Moskova, five years ago, his second wife following the death of his first from a form of consumption. Larissa is expecting their first child who will become heir to the throne, since his former marriage produced no children.
