Old Town
Despite being built around the same time as the rest of the city, Old Town gets its nickname from the variety of previously abandoned buildings and warehouses. Located in the southern portion of Apollo City, Old Town spans 23 blocks across and runs three blocks deep until it hits the ocean. Most structures aren’t taller than seven stories, with the majority of buildings consisting of small businesses, apartments, and warehouses by the water.
Considered the center of all crime in Apollo City, this district is filled with a variety of illegal black markets, clubs, drug rings, and other nefarious organizations. All of these once answered to Jonathan Voldaren. In the short period the doctor held control, he has seized control of the district and cut off all law enforcement. However, after his abandonment of the city and Old Town district, the gangs all vied for control of different sections of Old Town, turning this section of Apollo into a wild west of fantasy creatures.
Currently, this supernatural section of town is ungoverned by anyone but Mayor Katrina Masters but there is a general consensus that everyone should stay in line in order to keep the status quo of their part of town.
