Lara Raze is the head of the Raze family and one of the six Oligarchs ruling over Reishi Island. She is known for her somewhat druidic beliefs and her connection to Zitalaz, God of Land.
Physical Description
General Physical Condition
As a follower of Zitalaz, Lara is religiously required to maintain a certain personal strength, and Lara is very devout. In terms of raw strength, she outclasses many of even the island's warriors, though you wouldn't be able to tell by looking at her. Unfortunately, Lara was born blind in both eyes, but she has by and large overcome this weakness by sharpening her other senses.
Body Features
Lara is marked by a few golden tattoos across her body; simple things, mostly curved lines coming to a point. She has a chevron pointing down from her forehead, two hooks of gold on either cheek, a line along each wrist up to the first knuckle of her middle fingers, and a few more patterns across her torso - usually hidden.
Special abilities
Because of her devotion to Zitalaz, Lara has been blessed with two supernatural qualities: excessive strength, and control of the earth. Lara has been known to take down men twice her size, and she always walks with certainty despite her blindness - the earth guides and strengthens her.
Apparel & Accessories
Lara does not follow the fashion scene in Reishi, preferring instead her own style: black dresses, flecked with gold and collared with feathers, with a long sheer cloak of the same material flowing out behind her. When she wears jewelry, it is always of gold or a black metal.

Education
Lara has had to cram most of her higher education over the last ten years. She was always knowledgeable about the land, plants, and nature in general, but her understanding of history and high politics were severely lacking. She has managed to get to a point where she comfortably understands most topics of discussion when it comes to politics and history, but has a tendency to jumble the information or forget key details.
Accomplishments & Achievements
Despite her lack of experience with politics, Lara has managed to lead her family to prosperity, partially through luck and partially through wit. Over the last decade, she has managed to come to own just about every method of obtaining food on the island (barring imported goods). Through this, she has managed to choke other families out of control of the taverns, bakeries, cafes, and both of the breweries in Korosa. Even more impressively, she swept up control of raising seils from the Meretincelle family simply by proving her competency in the field - convincing a seil matriarch named Olga to move into the Clarenlake.
Morality & Philosophy
Actions trump words for Lara. She quickly got sick of the gerrymandering and manipulation of Reishi high society, and so began to strangle it. The noblemen need lots of food to maintain their comfortable lives, so she refused to sell until they broke, giving in to her demands. Some have claimed that she is a wicked tyrant because of these actions, but Lara never caused anyone to starve, only to thin their waistlines a bit.
