Rusatian
Adapted to the harsh environment of the Senu Desert, the Rusatians are a variety of Alvus that possess many unique characteristics not shared by their forest dwelling cousins, the Dhenian Vanarans, the Ionese Nivatians, and the Xianese Sericans; of particular note is the fact that all but a very small minority of Rusatians are female. Touched by the Ar, they find it naturally easy to acquire the skill of manipulating its flow. Indeed, it is said that they first developed the study of Philosophia Arcana during the start of the Fourth Age and taught it to the Khemites.
Basic Information
Anatomy
In appearance, Rusatians resemble extremely comely and voluptuous Alvi females save for one feature - their eyes. Rusatian eyes are gem-like and glow with a slight aura of light.
Genetics and Reproduction
With no males ever having been recorded as seen by outsiders, how the Rusatians reproduce remains a complete mystery to most. However, in actuality, one in every one hundred births produces a Wazir, or male Rusatian. These Wazir are kept hidden and protected in the isolated desert oases that the Rusatians call home, as they realize the continuation of their species depends on the safety of these rare individuals.
