Senu Desert
Located south of the Kharadim Mountain range in Aerisca, the Senu Desert is the largest hot desert on the surface of Tel. At approximately 750 miles in length and 300 miles in width, It makes up the majority of the geography of the northern Aeriscan region; in addition to the Kharadim Mountains to its north, it is bordered by the Asir River Valley to its east, the Okianos to its west, and the Djezid Savanna Belt to its south.

History
Prior to the Fourth Age, the area of Aerisca that is now the Senu Desert was a large tropical rainforest. During the Third Age, it was home to the large Djeti civilization. During its millennia-spanning conflict with the Myrmex of central Aerisca, powerful battle-magic rendered the once lush region into an arid, rocky wasteland. The desertification of the Djeti homeland eventually led to the fall of their empire and the extinction of their race.
