The Great Ribbon

The Great Ribbon is the largest Jagged Belt known to the Fractured Skies and is one of the most feared places on the map. The belt is inhabited by giant spiders, merciless cutthroats, and elemental horrors. To top off all that danger, dotting the landscape are all manner of ancient ruins infested by the living, Nul-touched dead. It is the home of criminals, merchants willing to move illicit goods, and the terminally curious. The only settlement tough enough to survive in this unforgiving environment are the people of The Broken Jaw, a small city of pirates, brigands, and mercenaries, as well as those who make a living providing the services the city needs to stay alive.

Geography

The broken jaw is a vast, vast landscape of broken stone, ruins, and light vegetation. While its boundaries are always shifting with the wind, one explorer (who reportedly sailed from one tip of the Ribbon to the other) claims that the belt was a massive 4000 kilometers long. 
The remains of thousands of small structures float through the debris field, tempting helpless explorers into their stone clutches with the siren song of mystery.
