Kerhofn Hall (Cer-ho-fen)
Kerhofn Hall is a regional Great Hall currently being occupied by Cheftian Njal Odger. It is a place near constant song and celebration.
Purpose / Function
It is a seat of power for the northern chieftains. They rely heavily on providing food and entertainment for the people so they forget the harsh conditions of their lives and the state of the region.
Design
Entry Way
As you senses are overwhelmed with the smell of spices and meat cooking in nearby firepits. All of N'jal Odger's riches are on full display for all to see. There are fine tapestries, rugs, paintings, beautifully painted clay jars, and even ornate weapons. The items are stacked along the walls and disorganized both in their locations in the hall and also the style of items does not appear to come from any one culture. There are long tables used for regular feasting, and the end of the hall sits N'jal Odger on his overly ornate high seat surrounded by both guards and gold. He looks down on you as you approach.N'jal Quarters The door is locked. It requires as DC 15 Thieves Tools check to pick.
N'jal Odger's chambers are suprisingly dusty and dirty. It appears his servants are not allowed to enter this room. Inside you'll a number of cultic accoutrements and what appears to be failed summoning circles of a variety of sizes litered around the floor. In the closest there are reagents used for poisons and dark magic. Next to the bed there is a desk with a number of books and hand written notes.Guest Quarters
The guest quarters are lavish with fine tapesties, pantings, gold candle sticks, and fine clothes in the wardrobe.
Sensory & Appearance
Kernhofn Hall serves much like a military institution which soldiers posted throughout the hall. There are stationary guards, patroling guards, and dogs.

Hazards & Traps
There are a varity of spiked floor traps within the hall itself. Guests are carefully lead to avoid them, but they can be tripped through unauthorized access.
Defenses
The Hall is surrounded by a high wall and is heavily guarded by many Jordsvik warriors.
Tourism
People travel around the country side of Jordsvik to Kernhofn Hall to watch the fight pits.
