Dagger

The Dagger is one of the conferred titles of the Earthborn Star of Iyr; the elected recipient is addressed by this specific title where possible. The current Dagger is Andrathath Gorre. Teigleava Castle in the west-southwest of the Dohest Valley is the castle and associated grounds given to the Dagger. Currently the castle is also serving as the temporary base of operations of the Seminary of Xaescyra, though this is far from traditional.

A prominent and reputable career in a particular field that significantly contributes to the wellbeing of the Iyran people.

Duties

Cooperative government with the other Earthborn Star via active duties in their own field and familiarity with that of others.
Teigleava Castle being situated nearest the main route into neighboring Balaqalneyis, part of the Dagger's traditional duties has been to guard it.

Grounds for Removal/Dismissal

Abdication is permissible; otherwise, the only way a title can pass is through death of the current holder. An unsuitable leader may be pressured into abdication or outright assassinated, but mere deposition is not enough.
