Ozé, Ore (Oh-ZAY)

Ozé is the principal ore used in the ozé coins of Ustraria and Iyr's official currencies, and the plevuud of 'the three hungers', Unenshuut's official currency. It is also used in jewelrymaking and decorative arts.

Material Characteristics

Lustrous and generally smooth to the touch, the veins take on a chunky, nearly granular appearance when raw.

Soft, able to be scratched with wood or a fingernail.

Geology & Geography

Deep mining is usually required but occasionally veins are accessible at the surface. The most fertile mines are found in Iyr.
