Sakura
Sakura, the teahouse-turned-dive bar that served as the gang’s hideout and source of legitimate income. It was destroyed by Tano, but later reclaimed by Carbide. The site now functions as a temple to Horus and a gateway into The Ether.

Sakura Re-Bloomed/The Sunken Chantry
The dive bar and tea house of Sakura is largely unchanged from what the public can see. There are different faces, some old familiar ones are gone, but the bar, dance floor, and tea room are largely the same. It is brighter, though. Less pink and red, and more soft glowing blue. And the network connection is the best in the area, for reasons known to any who are aware of what the lower levels hide.
The veil between our Material plane and that of The Ether is remarkably thin once you get below street-level at Sakura. This is where I made my first direct connection to Horus and took my oath binding me to her. While meditating at this thinness I was able to uncover old information buried in the Aether on the Chantry of Bells, Horus’ personal militant branch.
Here I found Inspiration for the design of the Sunken Chantry. As I worked, Cinran materialized. Amused that I was trying to establish a Chantry on the Orion, he offered some guidance and further information on ‘his’ order. From him I learned the glyphs needed to craft the titular Bells. As the metal reverberates, the carvings act as pools for Aetheric energy, allowing for powerful defensive magics to be harnessed to protect the area around Sakura.
There was a ritual called the Aria of Bells that the Chantry would perform in the distant past. From my understanding, it was cacophonous and beautiful and a way to channel the power of the Aether into the disciples present to aid in fights to come. I think Oaks would have loved it. Yo-Dime, too, for her own reasons. I hope to codify a facsimile of this Aria as a daily ritual once I am able to give Sakura a ‘Grand Reopening,’ that I have been calling its ‘Re-Blooming.’
I do have to wonder what affect that kind of energy would have on Boots. I doubt it would be pleasant, but I cant just NOT invite him. -Carbide 8-5-152
