Mercy Touka
Mercy Touka was always drawn to a life of adventure and excitement, and she was not one to back down from a challenge. As a child it was well known that along with her interests, she possessed what most would define as a wild side. So, when Mercy was approached by the Valhalla Foundation, a massive criminal organization that operated in the shadows of society, she saw it as an opportunity to test her skills and to make a name for herself.
Mercy quickly rose through the ranks of the organization, becoming one of the four Strong Roots, a title reserved for individuals who hold a large degree of authority and are perceived as the most deadly within the criminal enterprise. On her rise to the top it became evident that the woman was a ball of violent intentions and tendencies, brutal tactics that would prey on those who could not defend themselves and show little empathy for her enemies, she learned to truly relished the power and freedom that her position awarded her.
However, it was not until she attacked a group of government supply carriages traveling to Tis'Envar that Mercy first revealed her existence to the wider world and the peacekeepers of The King's Court. With just herself and a few grunts of the Valhalla Foundation, she was able to break the defences of the adventuring party, the Smiling Saviours, and a group of Justice Servants tasked with protecting the carriages. Mercy would bring chilling cries of pain to the battlefield as she tore through those opposing her in a variety of ways.
This bold and audacious attack caught the eye of the Director of Justice, Dron Vermillion, Who would personally place a bounty of 1,000 gold on the criminal. Unfortunately for those who uphold the law, Mercy would not let this deter her. In fact, she saw it as a badge of honour, a sign that she was a force to be reckoned with. She till this day continues to carry out the wishes of the Foundation, always pushing herself to be the best and to prove that she is not someone to be underestimated.
As the years have pasted since her carriage attack, Mercy has honed her bloodlust with the goal of becoming more brutal and unforgiving, she is obsessed with the idea of fear and is aroused by the thought that her presence causes others to tremble. Her resolve is unshakable, always driven by her own sense of purpose and her desire to prove herself in a realm that often seems as if it is attempting to hold her back.
