Reeina Caraxies
Reeina Caraxies is an Elven traveller, who was once destined to a life of happiness with a man she perceived as her soul partner. She was deeply in love with this man and cherished every moment they spent together. They did everything together and their bond was beyond close. Reeina's heart was filled with love and happiness whenever she was with her soul partner, and their connection was unlike anything she had ever experienced before. Unfortunately he would at some point contract the Bubonic Plague and pass away in a horrid state.
The loss of her lover left Reeina heart broken. She would decide to leave the Levial Theocracy and condemned The First Deities, unable to understand why they would take the person she cared about more than herself. On her way to the Eyelon Oligarchy the sadness became an intense depression, her emotions heightened due to her loneliness, suicidal thoughts constantly on her subconscious, her once lively and joyful personality replaced with a downcast and distant demeanour.
Once Caraxies reached the country she desired, nothing would change. Her defeated attitude remained stronger than ever and in an attempt to find a cure to her broken heart, she would decide to travel the realm. Reeina would travel to the furthest reaches known to the world. After experiencing the foggy mists of The Silent Marshes, the dangerous jungles beyond the North Market of Maronja, the chilling path to Icebeak Village and the Dreaming Fields of The Reelonain Constellation, it was not enough to distance Reeina from her pain, she had seen more than the average person could even imagine, but the image of her lover smiling in her mind still brought the Elf great grief.
Her travels had taught Reeina many things and she took the time to learn various practices in an attempt to wipe her mind of the past, she had a variety of skills that she percieved as irrelivant and unable to mend her. The only place left was beyond the map, that which is not seen, that which is not known. The lonely elven woman would hire a crew and disappear for 37 years, upon her return she would visit her partners old room, still kept in fine condition by his parents. There she would find a multitude of writings and after reading the text, her knew goal was known.
The memories of her time with her soul partner are some of the most precious things to Reeina. Reading the ink on the page brought her to a realisation, reflecting on those moments, remembering the laughter, the joy, and the love they shared. Despite the pain of losing him, she should hold onto those memories and never forget them, accept that he was a part of her and although her lover is no longer by her side, the love and happiness that they shared shall be fuel for her, fuel for her new goal. A purpose directly in conjunction with his ambitions. Reeina decided that she shall not visit his grave until she can bury the answers to the questions that were asked on that very text next to him.
I had lost everything to a disease, my life uprooted from beneath me. Grief is the price one eventually pays for love, I will not forget my lover nor should anyone forget theirs. There is no pain so great as the memory of joy in present grief, its true that the emotion changes shape but it never ends. Although it comes in two parts, the first is loss. The second is the remaking of life. I have accepted the fact that life and death are one, loss and possession are not real, the afterlife lacks a sun and there falls no shadow where there shines no sun.
