Levial Theocracy
Structure
The Levial Theocracy is the most well managed countries in The Lands of VeCoastal, they are ruled by The Six Ministers of the Doctrine. All decisions pass through them as they have complete and total power.
Culture
The culture of the theocracy is very unique, as it is mandatory to be a worshiper of The Lucid Doctrine Of The First Deities to live within, Levial avoids many issues that other countries are rampant with. The citizens of the country are completely devoted to their leaders and believe that all their actions are in the name of the First Six Deities, generally crime rates are low due to the large amount of jobs and new positions created by the Ministers. Most people within the theocracy are more focused on showing how strong their faith is than accumulating wealth.
The racism present in places such as Sons of Titus is almost non existent in the theocracy. Humans and Elves both live harmoniously together, it is common that these two races participate in events, build friendships and pray together. However religious discrimination is highly present and engrained into those living within the theocracy, for those who follow different practices, the country can be a dangerous place. It is well known that those who attempt to preach another religion are swiftly executed.
Assets
Levial itself has a strong military, that of which is highly advanced due to worshipers of The First Dreamer pushing the limits and innovating new strategies and plans to strengthen it. Along with its fearsome military, being ruled by the leaders of The Lucid Doctrine Of The First Deities, the theocracies power is also bolstered by the use of God Progenies, who can be viewed as advanced utilities or warriors.
Looking beyond military power, in the capital city of Deorum Urbis, the architecture of the theocracy is advanced too. They have built a functioning city that has reliable sewer systems and appropriate pathing, most buildings are created with strong material and all look beautiful as well.
History
Originally Levial was a small Elven country named, Old Asrael. However due to human dominated countries like the Tussarian Empire and The Sanctus Republic, they were slowly being crushed and forced to shrink their borders as the ever enclosing human threat approached. After a influential member of the Republic decided it would be beneficial to snuff the Elves and use their land for expansion, a daughter of his named Elizabeth Flemming would threaten to end her own life if the Elven country fell. Not only this but she would go into hiding with her younger brother as well, who she threatened to kill also. A result of these actions left Old Asrael standing.
In later times a young foreign priest would begin teaching his practices to those within Asrael, a religion known as The Lucid Doctrine Of The First Deities. On the back of Elizabeth and this young human priest, they would create a religious safe haven for human and elf alike. Pained by the death of Flemming, the people of Asrael would declare themselves a theocracy based around the religion she had loved so much, this would be the beginning of the theocracies rise to power.
