Biological parent of Sabine and Markham Dillestone. A minor relation of House Luneste. Successful, Driven and Armed - A former knight of Dunefalle who met Beltran at a tournament, Edda has been his faithful companion ever since. Born a distant cousin of House Luneste, Edda set out to make her fortune on the Continent as the leader of a mercenary company, amassing dozens of warriors under her charter at a mere sixteen years of age and offering the services of the Gold Lantern sellswords to dozens of minor lordlings that populate that fractured territory. Her exploits lead her to Banteave shortly thereafter, where she participated in the melee and managed to defeat the personal bodyguard of young Beltran Dillestone. He asked for an audience afterward, and they've been nigh-inseparable ever since. Years later, Edda and Beltran have two children, and Edda's days of leading soldiers of fortune across bloody battlefields is long behind her. She administers the day-to-day affairs of Tatcher's Pass and oversees the garrison there, and has been known to occasionally take on students who seek to learn the arts of swordplay. Her famed blade, Doomspeaker, rests in the hall of The Anvil, still bearing the blood of the last foe she struck down with it (whose identity she has never disclosed, not even to Beltran.)
