Brother of Pendros Ildrafn. Baron of Catena. 47 years of age.
Cautious, dependent, determined. A former Calistan Knight who has since retired to oversee the Barony of Catena. Fought during The Tambar Rebellion, now requires regular doses of medicine to stave off the pain from the injuries he sustained in the campaign.
When he was a mere twenty years of age, Kuron's amorous entanglements lead to him unexpectedly siring two children. Seeking to save face, he married Meera Ildrafn shortly before she gave birth to their son Halren. The other child was born Iryval Ayvir, who was deemed a bastard but still acknowledged by Kuron. He made arrangements to have her cared for after her mother's untimely passing, and Iryval was raised in the comforts of one of House Ildrafn's manors in the Barony of Catena, under the care of Kuron's cousins.

General Physical Condition
Kuron suffered several injuries during The Tambar Rebellion, and he is not the mighty warrior he once was before. He is plagued by pains that require a consistent dose of medicinal herbs to keep them at a manageable level, and while his caretakers advise against it, he is still keen to make appearances on the sparring grounds to oversee his troops. His days of jousting in tournaments, however, are far behind him.

With his son Halren a proud knight and his daughter Isola soon to join the clergy, Kuron seeks to help clear the way for his bastard daughter Iryval to take her place among the courts. Though she is not a full-blooded member of House Ildrafn, Kuron thinks Pendros could be convinced to properly legitimize her.

Kuron has enjoyed the wealth and prosperity that comes from being the Baron of Catena. A great deal of trade flows through the borders of his domain, and he has proven to be a cautious, even-handed investor in local enterprises.
