The Seaward Coast

The Eastern coast of Banteave, known as the Seaward Coast. This is where Alaric Bantevar first landed centuries ago to begin his conquest of these lands. Today, dozens of small fishing villages and trade ports line the Coast, harvesting the bounties of the deep and engaging in brisk trade with merchants from Northvalled and Dunefalle. Crumbled shrines to Lameral still stand atop the highest bluffs overlooking the sea, and reclusive druids still practice old rituals beyond the watchful eye of the Church, making their offerings to the ocean when the tide is highest.

Geography

Jagged cliffs overlooking crashing waves. Pebbled beaches festooned with beached fishing boats and drying racks laden with mackerel and trout. Huddled groups of thatched huts clinging to the shelter of a copse of thin trees.

Fauna & Flora

A hundred different kinds of fish, crab and shellfish are hauled up from the deep.

Natural Resources

Fish, salt, stone and sand are commonly exploited resources along the coast.
