Dragon
From the Obsidian Brink, Mature at 10, life expectancy ????
The Ancient Dragons were created by Balimor on their home of the Obsidian Brink as agents of Balimor's agenda of destruction. In their war against the Ancient Elves, they created many monsters to bolster their armies. Eventually they lost the war due to their inability to react to Elven ingenuity. The Ancient Dragons, save for one, were all either forced into hiding or evolved into obscurity.
The modern dragon, save for a few Ancient Dragons that evolved to be smaller due to their hardship, was created by the last widely known ancient dragon, Orken. Smaller and weaker than many among his own kind, he wasn't strong enough to make Ancient Dragons whole cloth in his own image.
The modern dragon can be found in one of 6 colors, each representing where on the physical elemental spectrum they lie, and are colored correspondingly. If a dragon is exposed to significant use of metaphysical elements, their color can shift towards that element color.
Each colored dragon has an appropriate elemental breath:
Red-Fire-Can breathe cones of fire
Blue-Water-Can breathe jets of water
Brown-Earth- Breathes rocks and boulders out at freighting speeds
Yellow-Air-Can breathe jets of air
Grey-Metal-Can breathe a field of diamond dust (dust is dangerously sharp)
Green-Wood-Fires out violently growing seeds
The metaphysical elemental color shades are as follows:
Opal-Life
Amethyst-Death
Diamond-Light
Onyx-Dark
Gold-Chaos
Silver-Stasis

Shared customary codes and values
Dragons tend to have a desire to hoard. They all develop different hoarding tendencies. Some amass gold, gems, or treasure. Some amass books or even knowledge in general. Some even gather followers, admirers, or subjects. The "hoard" can conceivably be anything.
Art & Architecture
Dragons rarely stay in one place and generally attempt to hide their existence, and as such tend not to leave behind evidence in the form of anthropological evidence. The only example of draconic architecture we have is, possibly, the Obsidian Brink with its Obsidian cliffs and connecting dragon egg platforms. However, we don't know how much of this was designed by the ancient dragons themselves or changed over the many hundreds of years since they left.
Common Customs, traditions and rituals
Because the people of Abilor have a history of war with the Ancient Dragons prejudice has been carried through generations, forcing dragons to live in secrecy.
The Lordasan dragons were created, unintentionally, with Orken's personal prejudices against the mortals who hunted his people down, and so their biases pushed them to subjugate the early people of Loredas until being driven into hiding themselves.
Funerary and Memorial customs
When a dragon dies, or another dragon stumbles on the remains of their kind, their bones are separated and scattered to the winds to prevent opportunist looters looking to use their body for its magical properties
Common Taboos
Dragons are by nature a very proud people. Insulting a dragon on something it cares about is often a death sentence
Common Myths and Legends
Dragons are the most historically revered creatures in the world. Many feature heavily in world-shaking events and their ancient ancestors were the massive and powerful aggressors in the war between the ancient Elves and Dragons. They hailed from the Obsidian Brink but were eventually driven away and into hiding by the elves. Only the small or very strong survived the hunting of dragons and a stigma exists over them to this day
