The Aether

The 12 Gods each have their own realm in the Aether, fanned out around the central Crystal Palace.   Femirex Alder's Chaos-based realm is The Maze. The home for the lost and wanderers in the world, it is a single final trial for a soul to find paradise.   Alumes's Stasis-based realm is The Cathedral, a place for the most devout people to revel and worship.   Fyr's Darkness-based realm is known as The Infinite. It is said that a view of all possible futures are here, no matter how improbable.   Dekash's Light-based realm is known as the Palace Library. An infinite structure reaching out from the Crystal Palace, the books contain all knowledge of the universe and continues to fill as time passes.   Aria Luxord's Death-based realm is called Afterlight, a beautiful realm of permanent twilight, it houses the sparring pits that souls from all over may test themselves against each other with no fear of death or lasting injury, and houses a small Danger Demons arena.   Citrias' Life-based realm is basically nonexistent. It is a single empty room save for his seldom-visited personal chamber. Citrias gives his worshipers eternal life, not allowing them to die. If a worshiper of his dies, it is because he no longer considers them his.   Trogdor's Fire-based realm is known as the Forge and it is a place of intense magical power at which mages may use power never available to them in life.   Karyb's Water-based realm is known as the Boundless Sea, and is a plane of infinite discovery for all of those who wish to sail the seas.   Aladir's Air-based realm is the Feast Hall. A longhouse of infinite food from across the world and a paradise of personal comfort.   Lipthon's Earth-based realm is the Dungeon. It is where all the souls that have been deemed too horrible for paradise or reincarnation are kept. Some are kept for personal enjoyment for certain followers but the more depraved actions are saved for the ones all gods can agree deserve it.   Crimson's Wood-based realm is the Palace Gardens. Stretching out past the shadow of the Crystal Palace is a forest garden of the most beautiful plants and creatures.   Carol's Metal-based realm is the Wraithlands. The place that souls who have not earned a place in the afterlife wander until they find an appropriate reincarnation to try again.
