Personal history

Trogdor was born in the Sapphire Isles, raised by his mother and father in a small village of Salamanders. By chance his father came across the body of a dying higher Vampire , and having studied strange rituals as many sorcerers do, he was able to transfuse the vampire's blood into his own and become a higher vampire himself. He killed everyone in the village save for his young son who safely was able to teleport away. He lived in quiet isolation studying magic for years afterward. He joined the Ascended Heroes when they washed up with the wreckage of their ship on the shore of the Sapphire Isles, assisting them in destroying a nearby Elder Demon who was causing problems. Seeing the chance to expand his knowledge and experiences, and possibly even find his father through their travels, he joined them.
Later in their journey they did find his father who had secretly enthralled a group of vampire hunters at Crow's Fort. They managed to thwart the vampire's plans and Trogdor defeated his father in single combat, followed by his friends arriving to help finish it off. The higher vampire's blood was integral to ascending to The Aether to stop the tide of corruption on Loredas. Trogdor assisted the Godkillers in a tragic battle against his friend Samuel Eshpard to destroy Balimor. After the subsequent Soulburst he ascended to full godhood and took complete dominion over the mages of the world.
