Gleeblak Bloom

Old Memory Blobby was a plasmoid that lived in the great ocean. One day, it split into two entities - Jam and Gleeb. They grew up to be adventurers, traveling across the ocean and encountering all kinds of creatures.   During one of their travels, they befriended a thri-kreen named Bryson Etretel. Bryson was a member of the Queen's Guard and had just married Paven, the love of his life. They had a daughter named Plume and were looking forward to building a life together.   But their happiness was short-lived. Bryson was accused of assassinating the Queen, and he and his family were marked for death. Paven managed to escape with Plume, thanks to the help of Jam and Gleeb. However, Paven was later captured, and her fate remained unknown.   Jam and Gleeb smuggled Plume to the planet of Faerun and raised her in the seaside city of Vellen. They taught her everything they knew, from swimming and hunting to combat and survival skills. Plume grew up to be a strong and independent young woman, but she never forgot the kindness that Jam and Gleeb had shown her.   As Plume grew older, she felt a pull towards her Thri-Kreen heritage and decided to join the Queen's Guard, just like her father. She trained tirelessly and quickly rose through the ranks, earning a reputation as a fierce fighter and a dedicated member of the Guard.   Despite her success, Plume always kept in touch with Jam and Gleeb. They remained her family, and she often returned to Vellen to visit them and tell them stories of her adventures. For Jam and Gleeb, Plume was not just a ward, but a beloved member of their family, and they were proud to see her follow in her father's footsteps.   Recent Memory Jam and Gleeb had been at sea for six long months, working hard and taking on any job that came their way. They were on a merchant vessel, carrying goods from one port to another, and it was tough work. But even in the midst of all the hard labor, they found something to distract them from their work: a beautiful seagull.   She was sleek and graceful, with shimmering white feathers and bright, intelligent eyes. Jam and Gleeb couldn't help but be drawn to her, and they soon found themselves in competition for her affections. They both tried to woo her with gifts of fish and shiny trinkets, but the seagull remained aloof and uninterested. Eventually she flew away, leaving them heart-broken.   One day, as they were unloading cargo at a warehouse, they discovered that the building was infested with undead. Skeletons and zombies lurched out from every corner, and the crew was quickly overwhelmed. But Jam and Gleeb, though frightened, jumped in. Jam taking the form of great jelly bear and Gleeb throwing elemental spells, they were able to defeat them/   As a reward, the crew allowed Jam and Gleeb to keep any treasure they found in the warehouse. Gleen found a dusty old book, it was filled with the strange magic but he could not yet read it.. Jam found a sweatband, red, white, and blue striped, that he knew would look perfect on his head.   But even as they celebrated their victory and their newfound treasures, Jam and Gleeb couldn't help but think of the seagull they both loved. They knew that they would never win her affections, but they couldn't help but feel a pang of sadness at the thought of her flying away from them.   As the ship sailed on, they held their secrets close, cherishing the memories of the undead they had fought and the treasures they had found. And though they knew they could never have the seagull, they continued to watch her, soaring through the air, and they felt a strange sense of peace and contentment.   From time-to-time Gleeb could be seen staring over the railing of the ship. "Beaky, my garbage siren, I wish Jam had not driven you off." "One day we shall be together. I swear it. By the Primordial Ooze, I swear it." A single tear falling from his cheek just has his boneless body seems to become rigid with his resignation. "Even If I have to kill Jam......"
