Draconic Civil War

The Draconic Civil War was a war fought between two factions of Dragons in The New World many thousands of years ago. According to Baerithyn Rex, the war was largely religious in nature, with one side worshiping Bahamut and the other cleaving to Tiamat. The War's exact outcome is not known, but it was devastating enough that Dragonkind was nearly rendered extinct and Dragons ceased to be the New World's dominant species.
