Nation
A Nation is a political entity which exercises independent sovereign power and controls a defined geographic area. The term is most often used to describe the various polities of The Old World, although some have theorized that The New World may contain Nations of its own which have not yet been discovered. All Nations are controlled by some manner of centralized government, but this may take the form of a strong absolute monarchy, a decentralized confederation, or anything in between.
There are eighteen Nations in the Old World: Alderac, Dunlagh, Eisen, Endelheim, Hellada, Ifri, Inismore, Karstadt, Khitai, Mennavjar, Montaigne, Sarmion, Sihalis, Tymanther, Ussura, Vaticia, Vestenjar, and Vodacce. The largest Old World Nation by Land Area is Ussura, while the smallest is Karstadt. The Most Populous is Montaigne, while Endelheim is the least populous.
