Tullius Macer

Tullius Macer was a Human pirate from the Archaean Empire who preyed on trade ships plying the Ilaruhan River. He was a devout follower of the goddess, Umberlee despite the Empire's ban on worshiping any deity other than Zarus. His jealous subordinate, Dimas ultimately betrayed him to the Archaean authorities, who executed him by lashing him to a stake and leaving him to die of exposure.

After death, Umberlee rewarded Tullius for his service by raising him as a Revenant so that he might avenge himself on Dimas. Some time later, he encountered Anja, Gamgam, Lyudmila, Nilivander, Sigrid, and Stigr, whom he coerced into assisting him. The Party found Dimas, who himself had died and returned from the grave as a Wraith, within the wreckage of Tullius' ship. After a fierce battle, Tullius destroyed his nemesis once and for all, then crumbled away, his need for vengeance now fulfilled.
