The defacto commander of Strikeforce Danforth, Melanija is a skilled and effective military leader, although somewhat shy and retiring. Chosen by Danforth Laertes when he left Ophelia VII during the early decades of the Indomitus Crusade, he has shielded her from scrutiny and allowed her to perform her duties without notice or fame. One of the most significant of Danforth's achievements has been preventing her from earning any military decorations or commendations during her long career, something Melanija is eternally grateful for.
