Captain

The last captain of the guard. When the lich launched his insurrection, he was simply the commanding officer at the outpost. After all of the king's guards and former captain were killed, the guard at the outpost held their ground and were all that remained.
Brin is skilled and capable, but still young and inexperienced. Still, he's all that is left. He tries to keep the king as safe as he can.

Personal history

Brin was a young squire to the former general of the Kiofthotre guard, Captain Righthawk. He worked his way into the guard, and eventually became the commander of the outpost. When the lich usurped lord Sygil, in which most of the land's defenses were destroyed, he found himself the most senior guard remaining. He now commands what's left of the lord's guard.
