Lord Sygil (a.k.a. the king)
The Other Realm is experienced largely through the eyes of a person known as "the king". Formerly co-ruler of the tiny kingdom of Kiofthotre with Gaminé, his power has been usurped by the lich. While the queen is able to maintain some manner of control at the castle, the king has retreated to the outpost in an attempt to restore stability and health to the kingdom.
