Session 47 - Twelve Weeks Later

General Summary

Though I've had the pleasure of some pretty special sessions in my years, this one rates way up there on the list! From start to finish, it was an absolute delight every single second. Shout out to the players: Diane, Josh, Rod & Will. You made a session with ZERO actual gameplay the most INCREDIBLE evening filled with fun and laughter! Thanks guys, CHEERS!

Faliorn
[4/20/2024, 9:11:36 PM] The Party is Over...
{Game Time: Lea 20, 46 20:24}
D8 Result: 4
Bonus: 3
Total: 7
Table: Quirky Table Generic
Outcome: You've become the patron of a gnome inventing club. Gain 4 XP and a club of inventing gnomes who occasionally offer you gadgets. Gold Cost: 187
Gnome club - "Improbable Ventures" is now working on a set of "Go Go Gadget Ears" for Faliorn.
Boat Krew - Seven unemployable "simple" dwarves were pawned off on the party by Garrick Ironmane before the harsh winter. While on the road; Faliorn took them under his wing teaching them all he knew about his former life on the seas. Eastdale lacks any formal use for sea legs, yet these dwarves have found unexpected employment. Radloc Hudson has put them to work ferrying the caravans around Eastdale, now known as the "Boat Krew" These dwarves employ a comical mixture of dimwitted humor and nautical terms to "sail" the streets of Eastdale and "ready the ships" (caravan carts) for travel outside the safety of Eastdales walls.

  • In the latest RedLaw overreach; His Venerable Mercy, Mordicar the Justhand is accusing The Saucy Tart of serving alcohol outside of permitted hours for most of the winter months...and is ordering them closed! (This is true, food shortages caused unrest among the rough adventuring types. As a last resort Cravos Blackburn eased tensions by serving alcohol, breaking the Red Laws for weeks on end.)(see Maggots in the Food for the start of these troubles)
