The Holdfast Union

The Holdfast Union was the name given to the military alliance formed by numerous city-states and kingdoms of the Realm. This alliance was formed in response to the Odjerai aggression that led to the Odjerai Expansion War. The Holdfast Union (referred to simply as Union) consisted of numerous armies and garrisons contributed by the larger states and kingdoms. Members of the Union included Lightharbor , Marhaven, Murr, Nyiche, Afhurth, and Calthea. While Sekerah did not formally join the Union, Marhaven purchased a legion of Sekheri mercenaries for defense of the city.
The bulk of the Union army consisted of Afhurthan and Murran soliders. This core army was supplemented by Calthean footsoldiers and Lightharborean mounted knights. Nyiche did not possess a standing army, but dedicated the majority of their private security forces to the campaign. Marhaven's public military was all but destroyed in Odjerai assault on the city and as such they could not contribute footsoldiers, though they did dispatch saboteurs and infiltrators as well as repurposing their Sekheri Mercenaries.
There was a considerable amount of independent volunteers that came from all over the Realm to join the Union. These Union Auxiliaries filled in ranks among the various Union Factions as needed, and often cycled between armies during the campaign.  
The Union was headed by a representative general from each participating faction:
Archwarden Bruark Everkeg led the Afhurthan army.
Battlechief Trakkagrim oversaw the forces of Murr.
Grand Marshall Lumen Arquella commanded a regiment of Harborean Knights
Contractor-General Vylar Vassenwald was in charge of Marhaven's footsoldiers, and after the Administocratic Board purchased the services of a Sekheri mercenaries he gave "orders" to Warkeeper Gormuun, the hobgoblin general.
The veteran Landsknecht of Nyiche were lead by Colonel Tavis du Artichen.
Lastly, the forces representing Calthea were led by Primus Daelorra.
