Sylvandar, home of the Great Tree

Sylvandar is a province of the Republic of Arvanor that inhabits the Island of the Great Tree, a patch of land in the middle of the Realm. Mostly composed of druids, they are known for their deep connection to nature and their devotion to protecting the Great Tree. It is common for average people looking to attune their connection to nature and the world around them to travel to Sylvandar to learn druidic teachings and traditions. Following the faith of Lamis, The Archdruid, Sylvandar’s inhabitants have a strong respect for all forms of life, and they believe that all beings are interconnected and dependent on one another. The Great Tree is central to Sylvandar, as well as all Arvandor society, and it is guarded by some of the most powerful individuals in the Realm, known as the Protectors of the Great Tree. These guardians are chosen for their skill, wisdom, and devotion to the protection of the Great Tree. They are tasked with maintaining the balance in the Forest of Coiling Roots, and they are responsible for ensuring that the tree remains safe and healthy. Visitors to Sylvandar are treated with kindness and respect, but they are also expected to respect the customs and beliefs of its inhabitants. Those who threaten the Great Tree or the balance of the forest are dealt with swiftly and decisively, with varying degrees of severity depending on their crime or the relative danger they may pose.

Sylvandar is ruled by Anastacia Flores, a powerful Archdruid that holds an important position in the Society of the Great Tree as its leader and holds much sway in the Counsil of Arvandor.
