This small bag is filled with magical beans. Each bean has a distinct pattern, ranging from swirling rainbow colors, to deep black with twinkling stars, to glowing golden speckles.
As an action, you can toss one of these beans into an area with soft soil, such as a garden, a patch of dirt, or a pot of plantable ground. Over the course of 1 minute, the bean grows into a random magical plant, which persists for 1 hour or until its effect is used.
When a bean is planted, roll a d6 on the table below to determine what grows:
Giant Sunflower: This colossal sunflower is 10 feet tall and its bloom is large enough to provide total cover for one Medium or smaller creature. A creature can hide behind the bloom with a successful DC 10 Dexterity (Stealth) check.
Laughing Lily: This lily has a large, cartoonish face that laughs loudly. Any creature within 30 feet of the lily when it blooms must succeed on a DC 12 Wisdom saving throw or be unable to stop laughing until the start of its next turn. A laughing creature is incapacitated and unable to stand up.
Mystic Mushroom: This large mushroom glows with an eerie light. Any creature that eats a piece of it regains 2d4+2 hit points, as though it had consumed a Potion of Healing.
Fire Snapdragon: This flowering plant has blooms that look like dragon heads. As a reaction when a creature comes within 5 feet of it, the plant can breathe fire like a dragon, dealing 2d6 fire damage to the creature unless it succeeds on a DC 12 Dexterity saving throw, taking half damage on a successful save.
Whispering Willow: This small willow tree whispers secrets of the natural world. Any creature that listens to the tree for at least 10 minutes gains advantage on its next Wisdom (Nature) check.
Rainbow Rose: This multicolored rose changes colors rapidly. A creature can pluck a single petal as an action. When the petal is crushed, it bursts into harmless, colorful sparks that can be seen up to a mile away.
The bag of beans contains 3d4 beans when found. The beans are not replenished once used.
