Lightfoot Halfling

Lightfoot halflings are small humanoid creatures known for their stealth and agility. They stand about 3 feet tall and generally have brown or sandy hair, with a tendency towards freckled skin and brown eyes. Lightfoot halflings are known for their love of freedom and independence, and they value their personal space and privacy. They are generally friendly and good-natured, and are skilled at working with their hands. Lightfoot halflings are also known for their natural athleticism and their love of adventure, and they are often found traveling or exploring new areas. They are adaptable and resourceful, and are known for their ability to blend in and go unnoticed in a crowd.

Eating Habits

The hill folk were the first to develop agriculture, and have mastered the art of cooking. They are solely vegetarians, but are fans of breads, cakes, pasta and cheese. A good chef is as valued as a king in halfling society. This has helped them slip into most societies as cooks and chefs. The other races often lack the palette for their complex vegetarian cuisine.

Funeral Rites

Lightfoot halflings hold open casket wakes that are always followed by cremation. Ashes are saved and spread amongst the fields during planting season. After the wake, it is customary to host a large feast that serves the deceased's favorite foods.
