Wargen Fort

This imposingly big fort was built by a mysterious and unknown figure a few decades ago, and is poor; the walls and towers are in dire need of repairs. As you approach, a hint of brine and seaweed is carried by the wind to your nose.   It is known for the important part it played in a previous war, and is worth defending because the nearby harbour is important for trade. The castle needs assistance as counsel on where to spend some accumulated gold.   Defences-
Its outer walls are defended by a series of curtain walls and gatehouses, and the lands it encompasses are mostly tied up with buildings; there are plenty of spaces, but none very large that aren't already being used.   The fort's inner walls feature several heavy-duty, mounted ballista's, protecting the castle itself, which is incredibly large, looming over the landscape. It no doubt has hundreds of rooms.   Dungeon-
The dungeon located in a corner tower of the castle is known as Wargen Dungeon, and was built for another purpose originally.   It is known for being the final home of a famous criminal, and consists of a sprawling maze of twisting passages. It is rumoured that hidden inside the dungeon is the remnants of a long-lost hero.   Cells-
The cells inside the dungeon are so dark it’s difficult to say what condition they are in, and prisoners are kept in cells that accommodate up to four prisoners.   Prisoners of Wargen Fort are treated like they don’t exist; occasionally they receive food. The jailer, Zanna Nucklestamp, is an alchemist, who keeps the rowdy prisoners dosed with potions.   https://eigengrausgenerator.com/?seed=wronginstructivesturgeon#ce0010ae-2dc9-4ada-8910-6f6ce7a2c197
