The Town Barracks

You make your way down Winter Road, and enter The Town Barracks a cob building with a decently built thatched roof. The Town Barracks is known for being incredibly fortified; after protests, the guards fortified the building, which made the citizenry protest even more, with the situation soon spiralling out of control.   It is run by The Club of Wildshore, who are consummate professionals.   Policing-
Wildshore is policed by The Town Barracks, rather than a separate guard. The guard is underfunded, and their equipment is always in slight disrepair. Their officers are held accountable for their actions when public pressure for it, though The Club of Wildshore does not have the funding to perform training exercises.   Law in Wildshore-
Law in Wildshore is somewhat reform-based, and those that breach the laws can expect hard labour, incarceration, or fines. The death penalty is typically reserved for traitors to the state.   Chief's Office-
The person in charge is Alyssia Marshal, an outspoken adult dwarf with almost no kneecaps. While this office is only one room, the space seems to have been used well. A writing desk with scattered papers sits in one corner, and the other wall has a small collection of weapons. There is also a small table in the centre of the room, likely used for meals. All of the weapons look like they were cheaply made, but they seem useable enough.   Evidence Locker-
