A Pair of Black Antlers

A Pair of Black Antlers, sometimes just the Antlers, is a famous tavern in Elturel that served as the unofficial headquarters of the Elturian branch of the Order of the Gauntlet in the late 15th century.

History

In the late 1480's, a Pair of Black Antlers became the unofficial headquarters of the Elturian Order of the Guantlet upon the arrival of Vindicator Onthar Frume to the city. Frume, a famed drinker, was more often found in the tavern than not, which was accepted by the establishment as it brought in more business.
During the Damnation of Elturel, a Pair of Black Antlers was abandoned by the Order of the Guantlet, who instead regrouped with the surviving Hellriders at Helm's Shieldhall. The tavern was instead taken over by demons and gnolls in the service of Yeenoghu. The tavern was cleared of its demons by the Lost Star Detectives, who also rescued the trapped wizard Lephit Ezim who was hiding upstairs.
As Onthar Frume died during the Siege of Helm's Shieldhall, a Pair of Black Antlers returned to serving as a traditional, albeit famous tavern. However, the titular black antlers for which the tavern was named went missing during the Damnation of Elturel, stolen by a gnoll that chose to wear them on its head. The owners of the tavern currently have a large bounty out for anyone that can recover them.
