Chief Barking Seal
Barking Seal is the chief of the Ice Hunter tribe that was forced into the servitude of the white dragon Arauthator on Oyaviggaton.
In 1492, the Breadwinners arrived on Oyaviggaton, searching for Maccath the Crimson. Barking Seal first tried to kick them out through a test of strength, where the tribe's shaman Bonecarver secretly attempted to heal the tribe's champion fighter, Orcaheart, so he'd win. When that failed, Bonecarver was ordered to poison the Breadwinners. However, the adventurers that did not fall prey to the poison explained that they were only there to help and, with great convincing, Bonecarver decided to help them, showing them the way into Arauthator's lair. Following Arauthator's death, Barking Seal and his tribe departed Oyaviggaton to resume their nomadic way of life.
History
Barking Seal and his tribe were forced into the servitude of Arauthator in 1480, when the dragon made a lair for himself on Oyaviggaton. For the next decade, Barking Seal would submit to the dragon's wishes, while secretly attempting to discourage travelers and passerby from landing on the iceberg, lest they attract the dragon's attention.In 1492, the Breadwinners arrived on Oyaviggaton, searching for Maccath the Crimson.
