Arauthator

Arauthator (a.k.a. The Old White Death)

Arauthator, nicknamed the Old White Death, was white dragon who lived in Oyaviggaton on the Sea of Moving Ice. He was killed by the Breadwinners in 1492.

History

Arauthator was born in 904 an orphan after a group of adventurers killed his parents. He then spent the next couple hundred years on his own.
In 1337, during one of the flarings of the Dracorage Mythal, Arauthator joined a cabal of dragons in raiding the Arcane Brotherhood's Host Tower in Luskan.
In 1480, Arauthator established a lair on Oyaviggaton, forcing the Barking Seal's Ice Hunter tribe to do his bidding. For the next decade, the Ice Hunters protected Arathuator.
In 1491, Maccath the Crimson, a member of the Arcane Brotherhood, arrived in Oyaviggaton to locate Arauthator and the artifacts from the Host Tower he had stolen. Maccath was instead captured by Arauthator and forced to translate the various magical documents that had puzzled him for a century and a half.
In 1492, the Breadwinners arrived on Oyaviggaton, searching for Maccath the Crimson for her expertise on the Draakhorn. The adventurers managed to make their way past the Ice Hunter tribe guarding the glacier into Arauthator's lair. After a fierce fight, the Breadwinners killed the Old White Death, freeing Maccath and claiming his hoard for themselves and the for the crew of the Frostskimmer.
