Tammeraut

The Tammeraut was the pirate ship used by the Sea Prince Captain Syrgaul in the early 1490s.
In 1492, Captain Syrgaul and the Tammeraut's crew had their minds and wills dominated by the aboleth S'gothgah and were used to investigate rumors of creatures of great power for S'gothgah's plan to create an Avatar of Bane.
In 1493, S'gothgah and the crew of the ship discovered a nest of magically-preserved kraken eggs in the Whalebones. The aboleth took an egg and sunk the Tammeraut to protect the nest, turning its crew into undead guardians.
In 1496, the undead crew of the Tammeraut were mobilized to kill Krisella Ferox, who was growing close to discovering the ship's resting place. However, while beseiging her hiding place on Firewatch Island, the crew was ultimatley slain by the Heroes of Saltmarsh, who then discovered the ship's resting ground, killed Captain Syrgaul for good, and destroyed the remaining kraken eggs.
