Strill Convoy Ambushed

After the Bombing of Montunao killed nine members of a Strill Gharvegh Axhvrg delegation, strill retaliated. A squadron of Korg Mrraka engaged with, and destroyed, a Crusade ship (Crusade of Samaria/Samarian Crusade) that approached the Hrgazhn Nexus Nexus without answering a challenge.
In 2571 a number of ships with Califersa transponders and Qabalis Omrini markings ambushed the strill convoy Gharvag Hxlah en route to New Canada. Although the convoy's escort managed to force the ambushers to retreat, they had damaged several convoy ships and killed more than forty human and strill crew and passengers.
