Phalanx
When injected with the Transmode Virus, Kree became members of the Phalanx, developing techno-organic metal bodies that were immune to most weapons.
Once the virus took hold, no traces of the original personality remained. The victim became part of the Phalanx hive-mind, driven to subsume everyone they encountered into the Phalanx.
Following the destruction of Hala, the Phalanx are believed to be extinct.
Transmission & Vectors
Injection of the Transmode Virus, originally by Dr Eve, but the Phalanx also had the ability to pass the virus on directly via their techno-organic bodies.
Prognosis
There was no known cure or way to reverse the virus. Once infected, the host was considered functionally dead.
