Port Nyanzaru
Port Nyanzaru is an independent Free City located on the northern edge of Chult. Small though it is, it is the only real city remaining in Chult since the loss of Omu and the destruction of Mezro.
Government
The city is run by the seven merchant princes - the wealthiest seven citizens of the city, who helped it gain independence from Amn. Each of these Merchant Princes maintains a complete monopoly in trade in their specific areas of commerce. Presently these are:
- Ekene-Afa, a former gladiator who deals in weapons, shields, traveling gear, rain catchers, saddles, wagons, and canoes
- Ifan Talro'a, an ally of the Zhentarim who deals in beasts and beast training
- Jessamine, a quiet woman who deals in plants, poison, and assassination
- Jobal, a former guide and adventurer who deals in guides and sellswords
- Kwayothé, a sadistic young woman who grew up on the streets and who deals in fruit, wine, ale, tej, oil, perfume, and insect repellent
- Wakanga O'tamu, a dandy who deals in magic and lore
- Zhanthi, a wise old ex-royal who deals in gems, jewelry, cloth, and armor
